About Nicole Daedone
Nicole Daedone released her first book, Slow Sex: The Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm, in 2011. The book expounds upon the practice of Orgasmic Meditation, also known as OM. Although focused on the female sexual experience, OM transcends the act of achieving orgasm by creating a pathway for couples to improve communication skills, thereby fortifying their relationships. In addition to detailing the OM technique and defining its philosophy, Nicole Daedone’s book includes a step-by-step, 10-day starter program and outlines exercises for introducing the “slow sex” and OM concepts in oral sex and intercourse.OM, according to Nicole Daedone, proves beneficial to its thousands of practitioners by providing much more than an improved sexual experience. Couples practicing OM also report that it heightens their nonphysical connection, improves energy and confidence, reduces irritability, and decreases stress levels. Daedone first introduced OM on a mass scale in 2004 when she founded OneTaste Incorporated, for which she also serves as Chief Executive Officer. Based in San Francisco with an office in New York City, OneTaste provides the opportunity to learn about OM by receiving personal training, attending retreats, or viewing video lectures.Nicole Daedone earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1991. She studied Gender Communications and graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University. She previously attended Temple University in Philadelphia. In addition to her work with OneTaste, Daedone founded 111 Minna Gallery, located in San Francisco, in 1991. She owned the gallery, located in the South of Market district, for a year.
